Charity

Charity is very important for all Freemasons and Freemasonry.

Freemasons in the UK, as a wider organisation, has donated over £100 million worldwide since 1980 and are known for their speedy and generous donations when global events takes place such as hurricanes, Tsunamis or Earthquakes.

As with Lodges, Chapters and other masonic groups, the club makes regular donations to various charities.  Whilst the Colonnade Club does not have the resources needed to offer aid and support on this scale, since our launch we have made annual donations of our own, to date donating over £1000 to good causes.

It has become a club tradition that every new Chairman will nominate which charity or charities the club will focus any fund-raising efforts toward during their year leading the club.
